I developed a self-running light installation that evolves continuously through textural transformations without rhythmic elements. Using just white light projected through refractive surfaces, the installation creates an ever-changing spectrum of colors and patterns inspired by natural phenomena.

The technical approach is straightforward but effective—refractive materials split and scatter the light, while algorithms generate gradual, organic transitions that never exactly repeat. Nothing is synchronized to beats or divided into phases; instead, the visuals flow in a constant state of gentle transformation.

This simple constraint of using only refracted white light creates a cohesive visual experience while allowing for endless variation, creating a meditative space where viewers can lose themselves in the subtle shifts of color and texture.
