I created this piece for the launch night of my collaborative sustainable clothing collection with Blue Nude. (link here)

The 3 'tapestries' mimic alter setups found in religious establishments of different guises. As this is an inner city venue I mirrored the chaos of the outside world with rough, automatically drawn calligraphic pieces in ink & brush. This is a technique informed by Zen calligraphy amongst other disciplines.

These were then joined together with a live controlled light show which was specially created and mapped for each piece.
