I created this piece for the opening of Project House in Leeds, a 1000 capacity venue which opened in September 2023.

I was commissioned to make a piece which suited a guided meditation and yoga opening day.

​

The 3 'tapestries' mimic altar setups found in religious establishments of different guises. As this is an inner city venue, I mirrored the chaos of the outside world with rough, automatically drawn calligraphic pieces.

These were then joined together with a live controlled light show which was specially created and mapped for each piece.

​

As each yoga session developed, the gradients in the art would mimic the energetic movements, rising, falling and breathing along with the participants.
