For Just Blakey's dub-infused electro EP on Size 13, I needed to create artwork that could speak to both Detroit and Jupiter. The artist's use of retro technology (including the Speak & Spell from E.T.) alongside modern production techniques, provided the perfect creative direction.

The design solution emerged through bold, blocky shapes with an intentionally digital aesthetic. Drawing from the visual language of low-quality pixelated screens, I created an unconventional composition that mirrors the EP's fusion of nostalgic elements and futuristic sound.

The resulting artwork channels the same interstellar frequencies as the music - a visual translation that feels equally at home in digital playlists and on physical release, while capturing that sweet spot between retro technology and space-age communication.
