Blue Nude is a boutique sustainable fashion brand who work with a new artist for each collection and oversee the production every step of the way. They make sure that every person in the process from raw or recycled materials to finishing gets paid equally and fairly - something which is desperately needed in the fashion industry.

I was approached to create a collection inspired by the pacific northwest, for me this brief screamed 'Twin Peaks' as I am forever inspired by the misty natural feel to the classic show, along with the mystery surrounding the plot and characters. The artistic process I used for this collection was inspired by Agent Cooper's embrace of chaos and the unknown, using a mixture of inks to create random yet controlled fractal patterns which feel like otherworldy natural scenes from high above.

These 'paintings' were then layered with a mixture of classic and imagined symbolism; suns moons and sigils can be found within the landscapes if you look hard and long enough.
